Michael Dow, MSPT, TPI Certified, ITPT
Michael Dow, MSPT is a licensed physical therapist and founder of Amity Physical Therapy. He has extensive training in orthopedics, pediatrics, sports consultation, manual therapy, vestibular dysfunction, and golf performance training. Michael graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT with a Master's in Physical Therapy.
In 2000, he was recognized by the US Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, DC for the development of his functional exercise class designed for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. In addition to being the clinical director of Amity Physical Therapy, Michael continues to work with local high school and college athletes to reach their sports goals.
Michael is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute as a medical professional. This certification allows him to use the same distinguished evaluation and screening techniques that PGA players use to enhance performance and prevent golf-related injury. Golfers of all ages and skill levels benefit from his Golf performance program. He has also received a certificate of completion from the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatment in Dry Needling.
Kyle Branday, MSPT, C-PS, ITPT
Kyle is a licensed Physical Therapist and is the supervisor of the Woodbridge office. He is a graduate of Quinnipiac University where he earned his Master's degree in Physical Therapy. In addition, Kyle is Level 2 Certified by the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatment for Dry Needling. Kyle enjoys treating patients with a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions.
Kyle has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic orthopedic and sports injuries, neurological rehabilitation, manual therapy, sports specific training, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and works with patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
He has completed course work to earn designation as a Champion Performance Specialist (C-PS). Kyle is an Impact Trained Physical Therapist (ITPT) specializing in the treatment of concussion. He has earned advanced certifications and is Graston Technique Trained. Kyle has a varied skill set to work with complex diagnoses. Kyle is an avid sports fan and works with our patients in our Sports Performance Programs.
Kyle serves as the Vice President and has been a long standing member of the board of directors for the local charity, Allie's Dream, providing services to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. He is passionate about the care and treatment of all patients and has experience working with Professional, Collegiate and Olympic Athletes, pediatrics, geriatrics, and weekend warriors.
Joel Paul, MSPT, CEAS
Joel is a licensed physical therapist and graduate of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. He is an active member of the APTA, as well as meeting the requirements to be a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist. Joel has extensive experience in manual techniques and developing multilevel back school programs. He has special interests in Parkinsonism, as well as a desire to establish strength and conditioning programs for local high school and college teams.
Michael Demetriades, DPT
Michael is a licensed physical therapist and certified personal trainer. He received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. Michael is dedicated to helping his patients get back to their previous activities, managing their pain, and function at their optimal level. He is experienced in evaluating and treating all orthopedic and neuromuscular injuries and diseases. His interests are in treating athletes as well as rehabilitating orthopedic injuries. Michael's experience also includes treating spinal conditions, fall prevention for the geriatric population, as well as rehabilitating the weekend warrior. Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and dog. He currently lives in Branford where he grew up playing ice hockey, golf and baseball and has a passion for food and cooking.

Peter Geloso, DPT
Pete is a Connecticut licensed physical therapist. In 2006, he graduated from Elon University in North Carolina with his Bachelors in Exercise and Sport Science, and in 2009, graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He is an active member of the APTA. He has extensive experience working with various orthopedic populations and conditions. Pete has received advanced training in the treatment of orthopedic, vestibular, and neurological dysfunction. He has been certified in Dry Needling and Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Therapy. He is a local resident of Bethany and in his free time enjoys going to the gym, mountain biking, and skiing
Lindsay Richard, DPT, ITPT
Lindsay Richard, DPT is a 2007 graduate of the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science degree. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University where she served as the Secretary of the Connecticut Physical Therapy Association Student Special Interest Group. She was awarded the Victor Vaughan Legislative Service Award for Political Action.
Lindsay has worked in the outpatient orthopedic setting since graduating in 2010. She has special interests and training in concussion management, pediatric orthopedics, women's health, and female athletic rehabilitation. Lindsay also gained valuable experience while completing clinical rotations at Madison House in Madison, the US Coast Guard Academy in New London, Bridgeport Hospital Burn Unit, and Yale New Haven Children's Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation. In her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband and sons, as well as exercising and cooking.
Justin Maurizio DPT
Justin graduated from the University of Hartford in 2012 Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He then completed his Doctorate in Physical therapy at University of Hartford with a focus on orthopedics in 2015. Justin continues to be very active in sports and exercise, which helps to keep assessment and treatment current as well as evidence based for the most accurate and comprehensive care provided. He is a dedicated physical therapist who above all is invested in the betterment of his patients and believes in the importance of individualized care. When not working Justin enjoys engaging in physical fitness activities, hiking and watching soccer or baseball.
Warren Rodrick, DPT, ITPT
Warren is a DPT originally from New Bedford, MA, where he developed an early passion for athletics and the sciences. He attended the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology, and later the University of Hartford, earning a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015. Clinically, Warren has a particular interest in the treatment of orthopedic and athletic injuries, as well as post-surgical rehabilitation. Recent educational pursuits include certification in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Dry Needling, and training in vestibular evaluation/rehab.
Robert Presta, DPT, ITPT
Rob is a licensed physical therapist who graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2016 from Quinnipiac University. He has worked with clients of various diagnoses and demographics, with a focus on the outpatient orthopedic setting. Rob is also SFMA, ImPACT, and dry needling certified, providing a wide range of treatment options for various problems our patients need addressed. Besides working as a physical therapist, he has a particular interest in physical performance, strength, and conditioning. His research on biceps brachii torque curve analysis was showcased at the American College of Sports Medicine Annual meeting to help further biceps strengthening protocols.
Justin Brantley, DPT
Justin is a licensed physical therapist and 2019 graduate of American International College in Springfield, MA. He has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions including orthopedic and sports medicine injuries, geriatrics, acute and chronic lymphedema, as well as post-surgical, neurological, and vestibular rehabilitation. Throughout his educational and professional career, Justin has gained valuable experience working in various settings including outpatient orthopedic, SNF, acute care hospital, and home care. Justin has special interest in return to sport rehab and improving athletic performance as he is currently working towards further certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
Justin also obtained his Certification in Dry Needling from the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. His clinical experience also includes Kinesio taping, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, Mulligan techniques, gait training, and fall prevention. Justin aspires to further his knowledge base with continued education in areas that will help expand his skillset. In his free time, Justin enjoys sports such as football and basketball, engaging in physical fitness activities, and spending time with his family.
Anthony Cornelio, DPT, CSCS
Anthony is a licensed physical therapist who has graduated from the University of Hartford in 2019 with a Bachelor of Health Science, and again in 2022 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. In 2021 Anthony passed the examination to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. This certification allows for the application of scientific knowledge with the goal of improving athletic performance, as well as designing safe and effective training programs. Anthony is able to provide in-depth knowledge of nutrition and injury prevention and is certified in the practice of Dry Needling. He has experience working with various orthopedic conditions and is able to integrate manual therapy with therapeutic exercise to help patients reach their goals.
Patrick Maybury, DPT
Patrick is a licensed physical therapist who attended Quinnipiac University, graduating with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017. Patrick is Level 2 Certified by the Institute of Advanced Musculoskeletal Treatment for Dry Needling and is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner. Patrick has taken advanced courses in spinal and extremity manipulation and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). Patrick has extensive experience treating patients with varying orthopedic conditions, from weekend warriors to Division 1 athletes. Patrick’s wide variety of experience and skill set allows him to tailor treatments to the patient’s specific needs across the lifespan, ranging from pediatric patients to geriatric patients.
Nathan Lindsley, PTA
Nate is a 2015 graduate of the Mercyhurst University PTA program in Erie, Pennsylvania. He previously graduated from Mount Aloysius College (Cresson, Pa) in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science where he was a member of the men's baseball team and male scholar athlete of the year. He has special interests in orthopedics and sports performance. Nate prides himself on utilizing a varied skill set of manual therapy techniques, neuromuscular reeducation, and therapeutic exercise in order to individualize his treatment for his patients. A native of Narragansett, RI Nate is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time with his wife and dog.
DJ Corriveau, PTA
DJ is a graduate from the Norwalk PTA program in CT. He has several years' experience working in the rehabilitation setting and thrives off of helping each and every patient return to their previous level of activity. DJ has a special interest in sports performance, neurological dysfunction, and orthopedics. DJ consistently provides a professional individualized treatment for the betterment of all his patients. He is devoted to enhancing his treatment skillset through continuing education certifications to remain current with evidenced based practice. He has been an avid sports fan and player for all of his life, currently remaining active in golf and softball in his hometown of Wallingford.
Zachary Zealor, PTA
Zach is a graduate from the Naugatuck Valley PTA program in CT. While attending he was given the Outstanding Clinical Performance award for his efforts and excellence both in the classroom and in his clinical internships. With experience working in multiple rehab settings from hospitals, to nursing homes, and outpatient facilities, Zach has a wide variety of experience and knowledge for his patients. Some special interests include sports medicine and athletic injuries, as well as orthopedics. He is always utilizing research and evidence-based treatment to provide his patients with the best and most personalized treatment plan for them. Zach is always trying to learn and improve his treatment skillset through continuing education, such as getting certified in myofascial cupping and the SFMA .
Zach is a big sports fan, specifically basketball and football, and played up until college where he then worked for the Men's Basketball team at Quinnipiac University. He received his Bachelor's degree in Health Science Studies from Quinnipiac.
Lucas Swan, PTA
Lucas is a 2022 graduate of the Naugatuck Valley Physical Therapist Assistant program. During his time there, he served as his cohort's Vice President and has experience in Outpatient Orthopedics/Sports Medicine as well as Inpatient Hospital Acute Care. Upon graduation, he was rewarded with the class Peer to Peer and Outstanding Clinical Excellence awards for his performance in the classroom and the clinic. Lucas demonstrates strong investment in all of his patients as he is consistently looking into evidence-based practices that will benefit each individual based on their needs. He is currently looking into expanding his current skillset via acquiring certification in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment.
In his spare time, Lucas is an active member in the community. He has been a Wrestling Coach for Cheshire High School and a bartender at "Ordinary" in downtown New Haven for the past five years. He enjoys exercising on a regular basis as he trains for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/MMA competitions for sport. Lucas is also an avid sports fan as he's up to date with all the recent action. Lucas is currently a New Haven resident and his favorite pizza is from Modern
Sarah Okamoto, PTA
Sarah Okamoto is a licensed physical therapist assistant and certified personal trainer. She is a graduate from Norwalk Community College where she earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2013. Her clinical experience includes years of treating various orthopedic and neurological conditions, as well as lymphedema. As a former gymnast and avid fitness and wellness advocate, she understands the impact pain and injury can have in sports and activities of daily life. She is passionate about patient-centered care and strives to keep up to date with current evidence in rehab.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys weightlifting, running, baking cheesecakes, and spending time with her family.
Steven Musante, PTA
Steve is a graduate of Naugatuck Valley Community College PTA program. Having completed post graduate course work to further his clinical expertise, Steve has experience treating patients ranging from pediatric to geriatrics and neurological and orthopedic conditions. With a passion for helping people not only achieve their goals, but optimize their potential.
Sabrina Di Curzio, PTA
Sabrina is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from Quinnipiac University, where she also earned double minors in Psychology and Biology. She went on to complete the two-year PTA program at NCC.
Committed to continuous learning, Sabrina is passionate about expanding her expertise to provide personalized patient care. She has completed McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) for both the lumbar spine (Part A) and the thoracic and cervical spine (Part B). Additionally, Sabrina is certified in Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) therapy and plans to pursue further certifications in pelvic floor therapy.
Sabrina has a special interest in treating patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and post-operative care, with a focus on returning them to sport. She also has experience addressing neck and back pain. Her primary goal is to help each patient achieve their highest level of function and improve their quality of life.
Outside of work, Sabrina enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, traveling, and relaxing at the beach.
Caitlin Massaro
Caitlin has been in the gym strength training for 5 years. She is receiving her Associates in Science, Majoring in Exercise Science and Wellness. Caitlin has been taking on clients since November 2022, and is certified through the National Academy of Sports medicine as a Certified Personal Trainer. She has been able to gain immense experience from spending years in the gym. Her passion for fitness comes from her drive to be strong, healthy and independent.
In her free time, Caitlin enjoys working out, learning new trends in the fitness field, and spending time with her dog! Caitlin looks forward to helping all current and future clients develop an understanding for fitness and accomplish their goals.

Frankie is a certified personal trainer here at Amity Fitness. He graduated Southern Connecticut State University with a degree in Exercise Science. His passion and goal is get you comfortable with exercise while achieving your fitness goals! Frankie believes everyone deserves the right to good health and to be happy with themselves inside and out. Getting healthy and fit doesn’t have to be difficult, and together we will achieve it!
